A log of every walk
Route, distance, duration, pace and elevation for each walk. The routes you walk often get their own stats, by themselves.
The dog walking tracker for iPhone & Apple Watch
PawTrail records your dog walks with GPS, counts your steps, finds the best time to head out and keeps every route in one place. No account, no fuss. Just you and your dog.

What PawTrail does
Everything a dog person needs, nothing a fitness app thinks you need.
Route, distance, duration, pace and elevation for each walk. The routes you walk often get their own stats, by themselves.
PawTrail learns when you usually go out and finds the best window in today’s forecast. It gives you a heads-up when rain, heat or wind is coming.
Connect Apple Health to see your daily steps, your step goal and how much of your day you spent walking with your dog.
Distance, walking time, streaks, personal bests and the streets you walk most. Set daily and weekly goals for each dog.
Share a dog through iCloud, like a note. Everyone in the household sees every walk, and each walk shows who took it.
Start walks from Apple Watch, follow them with Live Activities, and add widgets for your week, your pack and the walking weather.

Weather outlook
PawTrail checks the forecast against your usual walk times and tells you when it’s comfortable for both of you. Hot pavement, heavy rain or strong wind? You’ll hear about it first.

Steps
Your daily steps from Apple Health, an hourly chart and the share of your day spent walking with your dog. Turns out the best fitness coach has four legs.

Family sharing
Share your dog through iCloud and everyone sees every walk, who took it and how the daily goal is doing. Nobody walks twice, nobody forgets. No accounts to create.
PawTrail Pro
PawTrail is free to download and the essentials stay free. Pro adds the full picture of your dog’s life, as a one-time purchase. No subscription required.
Subscription plans may also be offered. Available options and local prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Our story
PawTrail started as a weekend project for Sykes, my Siberian Husky. I wanted to remember our routes, make sure he got enough exercise, and have an excuse to explore new paths together.
Many muddy paws later, it’s the app I open every single day. Sykes still tests every feature first, usually by pulling me towards the next forest.
I hope PawTrail makes your walks a little better too. If it does, or if it doesn’t, I’d love to hear from you.
